Alric Qin

As a co-founder of Plume and the Head of English, Alric brings his 3+ years teaching experience to the table. His own rise from rank 30th in English (Year 11) to 3rd internally in Year 12 at James Ruse taught him that results are a result of hard work rather than predetermination.

• He went on to achieve a 95 HSC English Advanced mark and graduated with a 99.95 ATAR.
• He has privately taught students English, Math, and other HSC subjects from a range of public, selective and private schools, including James Ruse and Knox Grammar.

Alric takes the time to understand what each student is genuinely trying to express in their writing and working out. Rather than imposing a model or formula, he guides students to examine their own ideas, recognise weaknesses and improve deliberately.

His goal is not only to improve marks, but to develop curious, independent thinkers who approach learning constructively and with confidence.
